That’s why our Weekly Prayer Update is designed to keep us connected through prayer, encouragement, and stories of God’s faithfulness.

April 2026 | Weekly Prayer Guides

  • You are warmly invited to join us for prayer time as we focus on the Armor of God for adoptees. Together, we will lift up adoptees, asking the Lord to clothe them in truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God.

    As adoptees navigate questions of identity, belonging, and purpose, we will stand in the gap—praying they are strengthened, protected, and firmly rooted in Christ’s love. Come join us as we unite in faith, trusting God to equip and uphold every adoptee in His care.  We meet on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. for a half hour of prayer.

March 2026 | Weekly Prayer Guides

  • As we step into March, we’re reminded that this season is one of transition—where winter begins to loosen its grip and signs of new life quietly emerge. In many ways, this mirrors the journeys of the families and expectant parents we serve. Some are still waiting in what feels like a long winter; others are beginning to see the first hints of hope breaking through.

    This week, we invite you to join us in prayer—trusting that God is at work beneath the surface, preparing hearts, guiding decisions, and bringing His purposes to bloom in His perfect timing. Let’s come together and lift up every life, every family, and every unfolding story to the One who makes all things new.

  • We invite you to join us this week as we lift up the dedicated staff of SOFA in prayer. Each day they walk alongside expectant mothers, adoptive families, and children, offering guidance, compassion, and hope. As they carry out this important ministry, they depend on the Lord for wisdom, strength, and encouragement.

  • Join us in prayer for the Adoption Advocate Certification Program. We lift up moms facing unexpected pregnancies, praying that they hear the loving message of adoption and feel supported in their choices. Together, let’s ask God to guide the centers and advocates who walk alongside them with care, hope, and compassion.

  • You are invited to join us for a special time of prayer on Wednesday, March 25 at 9:00 a.m. as we focus on our Care Coordination —covering every step of the journey with grace, compassion, and support.

    During this time, we will lift up the women we serve—especially those facing unexpected pregnancies who may feel overwhelmed or alone.

    We will also cover our team in prayer, asking the Lord to strengthen and guide them as they walk alongside each mom with kindness, patience, and understanding.

    Join us as we entrust every detail of this journey to the Lord, believing that He is faithfully at work in every life we serve.

  • We welcome our hopeful adoptive families to join us for prayer at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1st (no foolin’!). It is a true joy and honor to lift up these families in prayer as they journey forward.

  • As we gather in prayer, we are reminded that love begins with God. His lovingkindness is not fragile or fleeting—it is steadfast, faithful, and poured out generously over our lives. Scripture tells us that His love endures forever, reaching us in our weakness, sustaining us in uncertainty, and drawing us closer to His heart. We come together to rest in that lovingkindness and to reflect it in the way we pray, speak, and care for one another.

  • We find great joy in supporting our waiting families through prayer. Many members of our community choose to pray specifically for families who are anticipating the blessing of a new addition. This intentional act of praying for others fosters a spirit of hope, encouragement, and unity among us.

  • Happy Anniversary to SOFA!  We had our 20th anniversary on the 10th!  My, how time flies!  20 years serving biological parents and adoptive families.  God has blessed!

  • Whether you are delighted by snow or find it a bit chilly, the atmosphere can have a real impact on your mood. Brrr!

    If the weather leaves you feeling cold, consider taking a moment to use the prayer guide and share warmth with someone by praying for them. Your prayers can be a source of comfort and hope.

  • We know God has a special heart for adoption. Compelled by the fact that we are adopted by our Heavenly Father, the mission of Spirit of Faith Adoptions is to provide Christ-centered adoption services, including education and awareness. We offer grace, compassion, and support to biological parents, adoptive families, and adoptees as they navigate the lifelong journey of adoption.
