The founder of SOFA, Phillip Wurster. Phillip received both his
undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Toledo. He is an
member of McCord Road Christian Church where he has served as an elder
and small group leader. He is the Vice-President of Friends of Russian
Orphans, a Christian charitable organization dedicated to demonstrating the
love of Christ to Russian orphans and their caregivers through practical
assistance and friendship programs. This venture caused Phill to sense God’s
calling to commit his entire career to serving orphans. Thus, in 2006, Phill
established “Spirit of Faith Adoptions,” a domestic and international adoption
agency. He and his wife, Lisa, are the parents of four children. Their two
youngest sons were adopted from Russia. |

Stacy Braun's career in adoption began in 1994. She has helped to
guide many families through the domestic and international adoption
processes. As an Adoption Assessor, she conducts domestic and
international home studies and provides support for families before and after
the adoptions. Her passion is that all children need and deserve dedicated
parents whom they can count on to meet their needs for stability,
unconditional love, encouragement and support throughout their lifetime.
Belonging in a family is part of God's plan and adoption unites children and
parents forever. |

Bev McNear is a native of Ohio and has worked with adoptions as a paralegal
for more than two decades! She has helped facilitate hundreds of adoptions
including private and agency domestic adoptions, as well as interstate and
international adoptions. Bev feels the work she does helping biological
parents get through what is likely the most difficult time of their lives to be
one of the most rewarding aspects of her career. She feels God has called her
to be a positive for biological and adoptive parents alike and works hard to
bring a sense of peace and accomplishment to all, regardless of the ultimate
outcome. |
