At “Spirit of Faith Adoptions” (SOFA), we believe that God intended all human beings to experience family love. Our families are intended to provide us with care, comfort, and nurture, and, perhaps most importantly, a setting in which to learn and grow spiritually. For an adoptive parent, adoption can be one of the most rewarding actions in life.

There are millions of children around the world without parents. In James 1:27, God specifically calls His people to care for orphans. Spirit of Faith Adoptions is a non-profit, Christian adoption agency that exists to educate, guide, empower and encourage those whose lives are touched by the miracle of adoption. A strong spiritual base needs to be the cornerstone of a successful adoption. The adoption process should not be undertaken alone. The Bible teaches that a community of believers drawn together for spiritual strengthening enhances and strengthens that community. Matthew 18:20 (NIV) states, “…for where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them…” SOFA is committed to joining with families through each step of the adoption experience.

Adoption is a lifetime commitment. The goal of Spirit of Faith adoptions is to provide a full range of services to enable families’ prospects for healthy bonding and attachment to be increased. all this starts with good preparation. Our services include:

Pre-services:

Matching process:

~ Adequate information ~ Counseling support ~ Assistance in obtaining legal representation and guidance ~ Involvement in support group
